The Irishman Pub ***

The Irishman Pub ***

Reviewer -Robert

This is our second visit to the Irishman Pub. Both times have been an enjoyable experience.
This pub is something that Everett needed. Classic pub food and  the ambiance of a low key Irish bar. The interior is nicely done with nice hardwood panels and tables.
While I should have ordered something different on my second visit I could not resist the "fish and chips" again. Now I have lived in the Pac NW for 20 years and have seen my fair share of "panko" battered fish. The Irishman offered up something more East Coast or an English version of batter.
I love this fish.
I am so sick of "panko". The fish is lightly battered with what I call "the kind of fish I had as a kid". The Irishman offers of fish and chips that I would call nothing short of perfection. Served with tartar sauce, nicely done, and a bottle of malt vinegar.
The one thing they could offer is a platter with 3 pieces of fish and less fries. The order comes with 2 pieces of fish by default, but I sure there are plenty of folks that would pay an extra 2 bucks for an extra piece of this wonderful fried heaven.
